Business/Community Person of the Year Award (Individual Recognition Award)
The purpose of the the Business/Community Person of the Year Award is to recognize an individual or organization that provides opportunity and support for FBLA members. The recipient is automatically nominated for recognition at the National Leadership Conference.
Nominations may come from local chapter advisers, FBLA members, Professional Division Members, local administrators, alumni and Board of Trustees members. Nominations are due to the state office by the date listed on the State Leadership Conference page.
The nominator shall email a nomination letter to Lacy.Hunt@azed.gov. The letter should be based on the criteria below.
A selection committee will review information according to stated criteria, with emphasis being given to that adviser who:
Has a deep commitment to FBLA and the members.
Actively promotes FBLA activities.
Provides opportunities for FBLA members to further their professional and personal growth.
Contributes to local and/or state FBLA
Supports business and career technical education through involvement and leadership in
